Eddie Kasper is a wide receiver from Burlington, Wisconsin who transferred to Illinois after playing at Illinois State. At Illinois State, the 5'10", 165-pound receiver appeared in 11 games as a redshirt freshman in 2023, recording 48 catches for 432 yards and one touchdown while also handling punt-return duties. In 2024, he played in 11 games with 10 starts, posting 52 receptions for 440 yards and one touchdown, ranking third on the team in catches. Last season at Illinois State, Kasper logged 36 receptions for 322 yards and one touchdown across 17 games with seven starts as the Redbirds finished as FCS Playoff runners-up.
