Carter Janki is a defensive tackle from Redding, Connecticut, who attended Joel Barlow High School before playing at the University of Pennsylvania. At Penn, the 6'5", 295-pound lineman earned All-Ivy honors in back-to-back seasons. As a sophomore in 2024, he started all 10 games and recorded 40 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and four QB hurries. In 2025, his junior year, Janki earned First Team All-Ivy recognition after starting all 10 games with 42 tackles, 9.0 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, and seven QB hurries. He transferred to Illinois with one year of eligibility remaining and holds a degree in Economics from Penn.
