Zac Yoakam is a kickoff specialist from Upper Arlington, Ohio, who transferred to Houston after three seasons at Notre Dame. During his 2022 freshman year with the Fighting Irish, he appeared in all 13 games and recorded 49 touchbacks, which ranked eighth nationally, while limiting opponents to 19 kick returns—11th fewest in the country. He saw limited action in 2023-24, appearing in two games in 2023 and five in 2024. As a junior in 2025, Yoakam served as Houston's primary kickoff specialist across all 13 games, recording 76 kickoffs and 13 fair catches, ranking second in the Big 12.
