Weston Edwards is a long snapper from Valdosta, Georgia, who attended Lowndes High School. He was ranked as the nation's No. 16 long snapper in the Class of 2024 by Kohl's and earned four-time All-State First-Team selection honors. Edwards also was a two-time all-region selection and recorded one fumble recovery and one solo tackle during his senior year, when Lowndes won 10 games and advanced to the quarterfinal round of AAAAAAA state playoffs in 2021. He transferred to Houston after redshirting at Florida State due to injury and did not play as a freshman in 2025. Standing 6'2" and weighing 215 pounds, Edwards wears No. 69 for the Cougars.
