Travis Buhake is a defensive end for the Houston Cougars standing 6'2" and weighing 290 pounds. The Arlington, TX native prepped at Mansfield Summit High School, where he earned four-star status and was ranked the No. 14 defensive lineman nationally by recruiting services. In high school, Buhake recorded 58 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks as a junior in 2023. During his redshirt freshman season in 2025, he appeared in three games and made his career debut against Rice, posting four tackles. Buhake currently returns to the roster for the 2026 season.
