Ronnell McLain is a 6'4", 325-pound offensive lineman from DeSoto, TX, who joined Houston as a three-star prospect ranked No. 106 nationally at his position by recruiting services. At DeSoto HS, he earned First-Team All-District 11-6A honors in 2022 and was named Third-Team All-State that same year. He was a three-year varsity letterwinner who helped lead the Wildcats to consecutive 6A-D2 State championships. After redshirting in 2024, McLain appeared in two games during his freshman season in 2025, including his collegiate debut against Rice and his Big 12 debut at Oklahoma State. The redshirt sophomore currently competes for the Houston Cougars.
