Valdin Sone is a 6'4", 305-pound defensive lineman from Malmo, Sweden, attending Georgia as a true freshman. Sone was the composite recruiting rankings four-star prospect ranked #131 nationally and #15 among defensive linemen in the 2026 class. He attended Blue Ridge School, where he was selected to the Navy All-American Bowl, helped lead the Barons to an 11-0 record and VISAA Division II state championship as a junior, and won 2025 VISAA indoor and outdoor state championships in shot put with a personal best of 53-6.5. Discovered at a 2023 football combine in Germany, Sone represented Sweden at the 2024-25 IFAF European Junior Football Championship, recording two sacks and a fumble recovery in the title game victory over Denmark.
