Jontae Gilbert is a 6'1", 190-pound left cornerback from Atlanta, Georgia who signed with Georgia as a four-star prospect in the 2025 class. At Douglass High School, Gilbert earned all-region honors and played both ways, recording 135 yards and a touchdown on nine touches while adding eight tackles and three passes defended as a senior. He appeared in one game during the 2025 season as a reserve defensive back, making his collegiate debut in a road victory at Mississippi State.
