Dante Dowdell is a running back from Picayune, Mississippi, who attended Picayune High School before beginning his college career at Oregon. He appeared in six games as a freshman, rushing 17 times for 90 yards and one touchdown. Dowdell then transferred to Nebraska, where he led the team in rushing with 614 yards and 12 touchdowns as a sophomore, appearing in all 12 games with seven starts. He subsequently moved to Kentucky for the 2025-26 season, recording 560 rushing yards and three touchdowns while averaging five yards per carry across all 12 games, including two starts. Dowdell now joins Georgia as a senior-level transfer.
