Shymeik Jones is a 6'5", 310-pound defensive tackle for Georgia Tech wearing jersey 96. A native of Camden, South Carolina, Jones arrived as a three-star recruit in the 2023 class and redshirted his true freshman year. He made his collegiate debut against VMI on September 14, 2024, then appeared in the Birmingham Bowl versus Vanderbilt that December without recording statistics. In 2025, Jones saw action in 12 of 13 games as a reserve lineman, accumulating four total tackles, including two against Temple on September 20 and one each versus Gardner-Webb and No. 4 Georgia. He blocked an extra point against Gardner-Webb and broke up a pass in the Pop-Tarts Bowl against No. 12 BYU on December 27. Jones is currently a redshirt junior majoring in business administration.
