Malachi Carney is a 6'4", 330-pound right guard from Pleasant Grove, Alabama, who played college football at South Alabama before transferring to Georgia Tech. At the Jaguars, he appeared in 24 games across two seasons (2023-24), accumulating 1,172 offensive snaps and starting all 13 contests at right tackle as a redshirt sophomore in 2024. In his first year with the Yellow Jackets in 2025, Carney started all 13 games at right tackle, logging 768 snaps with a 67.9 overall blocking grade from Pro Football Focus. He surrendered three quarterback hits and recorded pass-blocking grades above 80 in road victories at Colorado (80.3) and Boston College (82.4). Georgia Tech's offensive line, anchored by Carney, ranked 21st nationally in rushing offense and third in fewest sacks allowed.
