Chad Alexander is a running back for Georgia Tech who hails from Lawrenceville, Georgia, and attended Archer High School. Alexander began his college career as a walk-on true freshman in 2023, appearing in nine games primarily on special teams and recording three tackles. In 2024, he was awarded a scholarship on October 8 ahead of the North Carolina game. As a sophomore, he appeared in 10 games and rushed 58 times for 280 yards and one touchdown, adding five receptions for 22 yards. Alexander missed most of 2025 due to injury but returned late in the season, playing in four regular-season contests. He currently holds the rank of redshirt junior and majors in business administration.
