Brayden Manley is a 6'2", 250-pound defensive end from Vanceboro, NC who transferred to Georgia Tech from Mercer. At Mercer, he earned 2024 Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Year honors and NCAA Division I FCS second-team all-America recognition as a sophomore, recording 38 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, and 9.5 sacks over 13 games while helping the Bears reach the FCS quarterfinals with an 11-3 record. In his 2025 junior season with the Yellow Jackets, Manley appeared in 12 games with five starts, posting 18 tackles, 3.0 sacks for 20 yards, 3.0 tackles for loss, five quarterback hurries, and one pass breakup. He earned all-ACC academic team honors and ranked tied for third on the team in quarterback hurries and tied for fourth in sacks.
