Alex Bacchetta is a punter and placekicker from Atlanta, GA who transferred to Georgia Tech from Rice. He was recruited as a three-star prospect in the 2022 class, earning recognition as a top punter nationally during high school. At Westminster School, Bacchetta averaged 40.3 yards per punt as a senior and made five field goals in a single game, tying a Georgia state record. He completed 24-for-24 field goal attempts from inside 45 yards during his prep career. Bacchetta holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Rice and is pursuing business administration at Georgia Tech.
