Samer Layous is a placekicker for Georgia State, having transferred from Marist as a sophomore. The Alpharetta native appeared in 11 games for the Foxes in 2025, connecting on 8 of 10 field goal attempts with a long of 46 yards. He made all three attempts from 40 yards or beyond and converted 30 of 32 extra points, finishing with a team-leading 54 points. Layous also handled kickoffs, averaging 56.2 yards on 11 attempts. He earned Fourth Team All-PFL honors and PFL Academic Honor Roll recognition. At Centennial High School, he set a school record with a 54-yard field goal and earned Kohl's 5-star kicker status.
