Kelan Butler is a sophomore outside linebacker for Georgia State who hails from Jefferson, Georgia. A three-star recruit in the 2025 class, Butler appeared in all 12 games during his true freshman season in 2025, accumulating 24 tackles, one tackle for loss, and one pass breakup. His season high came against Troy on November 22 with five tackles, while he recorded his first tackle for loss against Georgia Southern on October 18. In high school, Butler was a four-year letter winner who posted five sacks and 10 tackles for loss as a senior while tallying 74 total tackles.
