Donovan Funsch is a junior left guard for Georgia State, standing 6'6" and weighing 320 pounds. A native of Perry, Georgia, Funsch played tight end and long snapper in high school, where he was a two-time First-Team All-Region selection and helped Perry win the 2023 GHSA Class AAAA state title. He appeared in nine games as a freshman in 2024, recording his first career tackle against James Madison on November 9. In 2025, Funsch saw action in all 12 games on the offensive line, contributing to a team that accumulated 4,514 yards of total offense and averaged 254.1 yards per game passing.
