AJ Vaughns is a 6'5", 315-pound nose tackle from Memphis, Tennessee who attended Germantown High School before playing at Dodge City Community College. In 2025, Vaughns appeared in nine games for the Jayhawks, recording 18 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks along with one pass breakup. He posted a career-high four tackles against Butler C.C. and registered a sack against Iowa Central. Vaughns is now a redshirt senior transfer joining Georgia State.
