Matthew Williams is a left tackle for Georgia Southern, standing 6'3" and weighing 315 pounds. The Appling, Georgia native attended Harlem High School, where he earned first-team all-state honors as a Class 3A senior and was named Region 4-3A Player of the Year as both an offensive and defensive lineman. Williams redshirted during the 2023-24 season after appearing in one game, then played in four contests the following year while seeing action on 18 plays. In 2025-26, he appeared in all 13 games, accumulating 160 plays (111 on offense, 49 on special teams), including 41 offensive snaps against Old Dominion. Williams is pursuing a degree in Exercise Science and has been named to the Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll.
