Jaylen Bentley is a 6'0", 175-pound defensive back from Valdosta, Georgia, who joined Georgia Southern as a three-star recruit in the 2024 class. He redshirted during the 2024-25 season after appearing in five games and recording three tackles across 29 plays. In 2025-26, Bentley played in 12 games, accumulating nine tackles on 136 total snaps (93 on defense, 43 on special teams). At Valdosta High School, he earned first-team all-region honors twice and registered 58 tackles, 12 for loss, three sacks, six quarterback hurries, and an interception as a senior.
