Tyger Canales is a redshirt freshman cornerback for the Fresno State Bulldogs. The Long Beach, California native attended JSerra Catholic for his senior season after beginning his high school career at Long Beach Poly, where he helped the football team to a CIF Division championship as a sophomore. At JSerra, he was named second team All-Trinity League cornerback and played multiple positions including corner, safety, and quarterback. During the 2025 season, Canales appeared in five games, including the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl, primarily contributing on special teams while redshirting.
