Nick Verdugo is a punter for Fresno State who transferred from Old Dominion. The 5'10", 180-pound Rocklin, California native redshirted during the 2022 season at Old Dominion before arriving at Fresno State. In 2024, he appeared in all 13 games as the team's holder. During the 2025 season, Verdugo handled punting duties in all 13 games, recording 52 punts for 2,096 yards and a 40.3 average. He pinned 15 punts inside the 20-yard line and achieved a season-long 57-yard punt against San Jose State on November 29. Verdugo also served as holder for field goals and extra points.
