Malakai Sumter is a 6'2" wide receiver from Hughson, California, currently a redshirt freshman at Fresno State. At Hughson High School, he recorded 37 receptions for 775 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior, earning offensive player of the year and first-team all-conference honors. He also competed on defense with 53 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, and two interceptions, and participated in basketball and track and field, winning a state title in track.
