Kyson Van Vugt is a 6'7", 290-pound right tackle from Sioux Center, Iowa, who transferred to Fresno State after three seasons at Iowa. At Western Christian High School, he earned first-team all-state and all-district recognition as a senior, recording 30 receptions for 409 yards and two touchdowns on offense while posting 23 tackles, six tackles for loss, and three sacks on defense. Van Vugt redshirted in 2022, then moved from tight end to the offensive line in spring 2023. He appeared in 12 games during the 2025 season as a special teams contributor for the Bulldogs.
