Daniel Lyons is a defensive tackle for Florida State from Miami, FL. A three-star recruit in the Class of 2022, he appeared in four games as a freshman before redshirting. Lyons played in all 14 games during his redshirt freshman season in 2023, including a start in the Orange Bowl against Georgia. He saw action in all 12 games in 2024 as a reserve defensive lineman, accumulating 25 tackles and 3.0 sacks. In 2025, Lyons started all 12 games and posted 26 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks, earning FSU's Most Improved Defense honor. He holds a social science degree and returns as a redshirt senior.
