Chimdia Nwaiwu is a 6'5", 307-pound right tackle from Coppell, Texas, who transfers to Florida State as a redshirt junior. At Stephen F. Austin, he appeared in 20 games with 13 starts across three seasons. In 2025, he started all 13 games he played as the Lumberjacks went 11-3 and reached the FCS quarterfinals, earning all-Southland Conference first-team honors at offensive tackle. Per analytics services grading, he posted the league's best 82.5 pass block rating among SLC offensive tackles. He also caught a four-yard pass in SFA's FCS quarterfinal game versus Montana State.
