Blake Nichelson is a 6'3", 222-pound weakside linebacker for Florida State. A consensus four-star recruit from Manteca, California, he appeared in all 14 games as a freshman in 2023, recording 17 tackles and earning All-ACC Academic honors and FSU Special Teams Newcomer of the Year. As a sophomore in 2024, Nichelson played 11 games with nine starts and posted 52 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, and 0.5 sacks. In 2025, he appeared in 12 games while starting the final six, accumulating 43 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, one pass breakup, and one fumble recovery. He now enters his senior year as a returning starter.
