Zaire Flournoy is a left guard from Douglasville, Georgia who transferred to Florida International from UAB. Originally recruited in the 2020 class as a two-star prospect, Flournoy redshirted his first year before seeing limited action on the offensive line in 2021. He appeared in twelve games primarily on special teams in 2022, when UAB rushed for 235.3 yards per game. After missing the entire 2023 season due to a torn achilles suffered in spring, Flournoy appeared in six games in 2024 at UAB, including one start, and played 185 total snaps on the offensive line. In 2025, his redshirt junior campaign, he appeared in all 13 games and recorded one solo tackle.
