Lawrence Johnson is a 6'1", 190-pound left cornerback from Miami, Florida, who attended Miami Palmetto High School. As a senior in 2023, he recorded 22 tackles with 20 solo stops and one tackle for loss while adding two interceptions and blocking two field goal attempts. Johnson joined Florida Atlantic as a true freshman in 2024, making his collegiate debut at Michigan State. During his first season, he appeared in multiple contests and earned a starting role against South Florida, recording two tackles and a pass breakup. In 2025, he has seen expanded action with FAU, posting a pass breakup and recovery against FAMU, registering a tackle for loss against UConn, and receiving a PFSN College First Team honor. Johnson transferred to Florida International ahead of the 2026 season.
