Kelby Valsin is a 6'2" wide receiver from Arlington, Texas, who attended Bowie High School. A three-star recruit in the 2023 class, Valsin caught more than 100 passes for 2,000 yards and 18 touchdowns across his two varsity seasons, earning first-team All-District 8-6A honors both years. He played at Texas Tech as a redshirt freshman in 2024, appearing in 12 games and recording three catches for 21 yards, including his first career reception for five yards against Oklahoma State. In 2025, Valsin played in 13 games, finishing with three receptions for 35 yards and adding a 21-yard kick return at Arizona State. His longest reception came in the season opener against Arkansas Pine Bluff for 18 yards. Valsin transferred to Florida Atlantic in January 2026 as a redshirt junior.
