Josh Roberts, a 6'4", 220-pound rusher from Melbourne, Florida, was a three-star recruit in the 2025 class. During his freshman season at Florida Atlantic, Roberts appeared in a defensive line rotation and recorded 22 total tackles, 13 solo stops, 5 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, and 2 quarterback hurries. He also returned an interception for 8 yards and recorded one punt return for 24 yards. Roberts drew 11 starts during the campaign and appeared in contests against Maryland, FAMU, FIU, Memphis, Rice, UAB, South Florida, Navy, Tulsa, Tulane, UConn, and ECU. The sophomore is returning to the Owls in 2026.
