Germanuel Tanelus is a 5'10", 205-pound running back from North Lauderdale, Florida, and a 2022 graduate of Fort Lauderdale High School. At the prep level, he played quarterback, running back, and strong safety, rushing for 800 yards and eight touchdowns as a senior while also throwing seven touchdown passes. He redshirted as a true freshman in 2023 before appearing in three games during his redshirt freshman year. At Central Michigan in 2025, Tanelus played in 11 games and recorded two rushing yards on one carry against Wagner on September 20. Now a redshirt senior, he returns to Florida Atlantic for his final collegiate season.
