Chris Tooley III is a 6'0", 180-pound nickelback for Florida Atlantic who hails from Orlando, Florida, where he attended Jones High School. Originally a quarterback, he transitioned to cornerback during his prep career and joined the Owls in 2023 as a 3-star recruit. In 2025, his redshirt sophomore season, Tooley appeared in multiple starts and recorded 21 total tackles, 11 of which were solo, along with 2 pass breakups and 0.5 tackles for loss. He is the second player named Chris Tooley to play defensive back at FAU, following his cousin who competed there from 2016-19.
