Elijha Payne is an offensive lineman standing 6'8" and weighing 313 pounds who transferred to Eastern Michigan after attending Delaware State University. A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, Payne prepped at Sierra Canyon High School in California, where he played guard and tackle for a 10-5 overall team that went 4-1 in conference play during 2022. He previously spent time at the University of Arizona without appearing in games during the 2023 and 2024 seasons. At Delaware State, Payne started in five games on the offensive line before joining the Eagles for the 2026 season.
