Tyler Johnson is a 6'0", 186-pound wide receiver from Martinville, Virginia who transferred to East Carolina from Penn State in January 2025. He appeared in 11 games during his 2025 debut with the Pirates, recording seven receptions for 72 yards (10.3 yards per catch) on 15 targets. Johnson caught passes in six of 11 contests, posting career-highs of two receptions and 21 yards against Campbell. Four of his seven catches gained at least 10 yards. At Penn State, he appeared in 11 games across the 2022 and 2024 seasons without recording statistics.
