Kevon Merrell is a 6'1", 188-pound nickelback for East Carolina, wearing No. 4. A native of Cordele, Georgia, Merrell attended Crisp County High School as a three-star recruit in the 2024 class. In 2025, his first season, he logged 27 total tackles, including 18 solo tackles and 4.5 for loss. He also recorded one interception for 70 yards, two pass deflections, and one quarterback hurry. Merrell returns as a junior for the 2026 season.
