Joel Karson Jones is an offensive lineman for East Carolina who hails from Lubbock, Texas, where he prepped at Frenship High School as a team captain and Second Team Academic All-State selection. Jones began his college career at Houston in 2022, redshirting during his initial season and earning 2022-23 American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team honors. He appeared in two games for the Cougars in 2023 before transferring to East Carolina in fall 2024. With the Pirates, Jones has played in three games while logging 25 total snaps on the offensive line, making his debut against Norfolk State.
