David Coleman Jr. is a 5'11", 165-pound defensive back from Kingsland, GA, who attended Camden County High School. A three-star prospect, Coleman verbally committed to East Carolina on June 21, 2025, and officially enrolled early in January 2026. At the prep level, he appeared in 31 career games as a two-way athlete, recording 108 total tackles (83 solo) with 3.0 TFLs, three interceptions (90 yards), and 13 pass breakups on defense. Offensively, he caught 39 passes for 779 yards and seven touchdowns while adding 94 rushing yards and one score. Coleman also returned 31 kickoffs for 936 yards and 12 punts for 270 yards, scoring 13 total touchdowns across multiple categories.
