Blake Shirley is a long snapper from Greer, South Carolina, who attended Eastside High School as a three-year letterman at the position and linebacker. At Eastside, he led the state with 144 tackles during his senior year, including 24 tackles for loss, and earned All-State and All-Region honors twice. Shirley played at Wofford from 2022 to 2025, appearing in four games as a freshman, two games in 2024, and all 12 games in 2025. In 2025, he recorded two tackles—one against Richmond and one at Virginia Tech—and earned second-team All-Southern Conference and second-team FCS All-America honors from Phil Steele. He also made the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll twice. Shirley now joins East Carolina as a graduate transfer.
