Kavon Simmons is a 6'1", 190-pound wide receiver from Wake Forest, NC, currently in his redshirt freshman year at Duke. He lettered three seasons in football at Wake Forest High School, where he earned two all-conference honors and started at quarterback as a junior, passing for over 2,000 yards while adding 688 rushing yards and 34 offensive touchdowns. As a sophomore, he threw for 1,487 yards and 14 touchdowns. A three-star prospect rated No. 27 in North Carolina by national outlets and No. 41 by recruiting services, Simmons also lettered three times in basketball with all-conference recognition. At Duke, he appeared in one game in 2025 and was named one of three D-Squad Players of the Year as a scout team contributor.
