Jake Fitzgerald is a graduate transfer long snapper for Duke. The La Canada, California native prepped at Cathedral High School, where he earned first-team all-Mission League honors and recorded 123 tackles in nine games as a senior linebacker. He attended Merrimack for three seasons and was named a two-time Northeast Conference Scholar-Athlete before spending 2025 at Sam Houston State. In his lone appearance with the Bearkats against Jacksonville State, Fitzgerald contributed on three PAT conversions and three punt snaps. He holds a degree in human development and human services from Merrimack.
