Jackson Whitacre is a tight end for Delaware standing 6'3" and weighing 245 pounds. A native of Oceanport, New Jersey, Whitacre was a four-year starter at Shore Regional High School, where he played tight end and defensive line while serving as team captain his senior year. He recorded 30 receptions for 463 yards and six touchdowns on offense, while accumulating 202 tackles, 51.0 tackles for loss, and a school-record 19.0 sacks defensively. Whitacre earned All-Shore honors twice as a defensive lineman and was named team MVP twice. He appeared in 12 games during the 2025 season primarily on special teams and was recognized on the Conference USA Academic Honor Roll.
