Zayne DeSouza is a tight end for the Colorado Buffaloes. The 6'6", 260-pound true freshman from Loveland, Colorado was a three-star recruit ranked as the No. 58 tight end by recruiting services and the No. 3 player from Colorado. At Loveland High School under head coach Allan Jeffries, DeSouza played two years of varsity football and earned Northern League 1 All-Conference First Team honors in both his junior and senior seasons. In his senior year, he recorded 51 catches for 446 yards and six touchdowns, helping his team secure a playoff berth. During his junior campaign, he added 330 receiving yards and one touchdown as Loveland went 8-4 and made the playoffs. DeSouza redshirted during the 2025 season and did not appear in game action.
