Bio

Randon Fontenette is a safety from Freeport, Texas, who attended Brazosport High School before playing college football at TCU and Vanderbilt. At Brazosport, he played quarterback and safety, recording 82 tackles with four interceptions as a senior. Fontenette appeared in all 12 games as a true freshman at TCU in 2023, finishing with 16 total tackles. He then transferred to Vanderbilt, where he played in 25 games across two seasons with 24 starts. During the 2024 season, he recorded 73 tackles and eight tackles for loss while registering eight pass break-ups and an interception returned for a touchdown against Alabama. In 2025, he started all 13 games, accumulating 52 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and six pass break-ups.
