Lamont Lester Jr. is a left defensive end from Ramsey, New Jersey, who attended Don Bosco Prep before playing at Monmouth University. As a true freshman in 2024, he appeared in one game on the defensive line, making his debut against No. 8/9 Villanova. During the 2025 season, Lester played in all 12 games with three starts, recording 37 tackles, 10 quarterback hits, 11.5 tackles for loss, and 9.5 sacks. He earned CAA Defensive Rookie of the Year and First Team All-CAA honors while ranking 11th nationally in sacks. A three-star transfer prospect rated No. 60 at his position, Lester joins Colorado as an undergraduate transfer with three years of eligibility remaining.
