Ben Gula is a true freshman tight end at Colorado who hails from Weston, Florida and attended Cypress Bay High School. A consensus three-star recruit, he was ranked No. 1,227 nationally in the 2026 class. At Cypress Bay under head coach Bret Hood, Gula started 41 games over four varsity seasons, earning All-District honors each year, All-County recognition as a junior and senior, and All-State accolades following his senior campaign. He registered over 250 pancake blocks and allowed only one sack across more than 1,500 pass protection snaps during his high school career. Gula also lettered in basketball, averaging 10 points, eight rebounds, and three assists per contest.
