Balansama Kamara is a 6'3", 260-pound right defensive end from Philadelphia's Central High School who transfers to Colorado as a redshirt senior with one year of eligibility remaining. Kamara began his college career at Temple in 2021, appearing in 11 games across two seasons with one start. He spent 2023 at Hutchinson Community College before joining Albany, where he played 23 games over two seasons with 15 starts. In 2025, his final year with the Great Danes, Kamara recorded 67 total tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles, earning First Team All-CAA honors. He ranked sixth in the CAA in both tackles for loss and sacks.
