John Holthaus is a right tackle for the Colorado State Rams. The 6'7", 285-pound redshirt sophomore from Portola Valley, California, attended Junípero Serra High School, where he was rated a 3-star composite recruit and earned WCAL Honorable mention honors as a senior. At Serra, he served as team captain in both football and lacrosse while helping his squad win two league championships and two Central Coast titles. Holthaus redshirted in 2024 and appeared in a game against San Diego State on October 3, 2025.
