Gabe Jones is a 6'4", 290-pound defensive tackle from Dallas, Texas, who transferred to Colorado State from New Mexico State. At New Mexico State, Jones appeared in 13 games across two seasons (2023-24) and recorded 17 tackles, four solo tackles, and 1.5 tackles for loss after redshirting his freshman year. Jones lettered at W.T. White High School under coach Kenchee Ross, where he posted 64 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, and eight sacks as a senior. He earned first-team all-district honors, district defensive MVP, and Defensive Lineman of the Year recognition. In 2025, his redshirt junior season, Jones appeared in one game and registered three total tackles, including 0.5 sacks for five yards lost, in a contest against Washington on August 30.
