Alton Tarber IV is a 6'4", 330-pound nose tackle from Pompano Beach, Florida, who committed to Oklahoma out of Deerfield Beach High School as a consensus three-star recruit. He spent the 2022 season with the Sooners before taking time away from football and joining Hinds Community College, where he totaled 17 tackles and 0.5 sacks in 2024. At Colorado State, Tarber appeared in all 12 games during the 2025 season, recording 11 total tackles with 4 solo, 1 tackle for loss, and 0.5 sacks.
